Bishan Park waterways

Bishan park is made up of 2 sections.
The left side of Bishan park is nearer to Bishan Road. The right side of Bishan park is where most people hang out.
There are spa outlets, bicycle rental, Macdonalds and many more shops at Bishan Park.
If you are a dog owner, Bishan Park is a place for you to go! Having a dog park, You may bring your dogs there to have fun. But do not forget to heed the notice to clear your dogs poo before you leave!

One unique feature about Bishan Park is that you may walk down to its waterways and even play in it! However, be careful not to walk into the canals which would eventually lead to Marina area.

The Western part of Bishan Park, is a much quieter area. Compared to its eastern counterpart, the western part of the park has less amenities. Though thinner in size, it is much longer. You may walk though Bishan park to get to Old Upper Thomson Road. Which leads up to Lower Perice reservoir.


Though a neighborhood park, Bishan Park is surprisingly a huge and fun place to hang out even for people who stay far from it!

Personally, I like Bishan Park due to its centralized location which is right in the middle of Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. It makes commuting to it easy if you are staying nearby. With its large size for a neighborhood park, it is certainly a great and convenient recreational place for people.

Bishan Park is also connected to Old Upper Thomson Road which of cause links to Lower Peirce Reservoir. On the other side(eastern) it is linked to Kallang Park Connector which will allow you to cycle pass St Andrew's Village to Kallang Basin.

MRT: Alight at Bishan MRT.
Take 58 from interchange
Many buses such as 156 passes Bishan MRT too
