Situated near the Serimbun Beach is the Scouts and Girl Guides camp. To get here, one has to drive on the rocky road Jalan Bahtera before reaching this signboard at the end of the road. This was apparently the place the Japanese launched their attack on Singapore during WW2.

Little does anyone know, here there is a slip road to the left leading to the outfield side for the army. This place I hear say form some other passer bys are opened on Sundays as there are no army training then. Apparently, this place is crowded in the morning where people gather to pickup Rambutan and Durians.

Rumours have it to be here by Sat evening or Sun morning to get the freshest Durians that falls on the ground. Be careful of Durians falling on your head!

To get in, it is highly recommended to have a vehicle as it is hard to come here. Even from Lim Chu Kang Road where there is bus services, it still takes abit of a drive to drive to the end of Jalan Bahtera.
