Keppel Island

And so last week, My friend and I went to Keppel Island again!

Keppel Island is an island near Sentosa, just off the south of Singapore. It is linked via a bridge to mainland

Keppel Island houses the "Marina at Keppel Bay" and it is a place for luxury yachts. Although Keppel Bay is privately owned, it does not stop people from entering to enjoy the scenic view it offers! This place is highly recommended to people who wants to spend some quiet time in Singapore overlooking the southern waters of Singapore
Of course you can come in! if you own a yacht of course!

Mystical Jurong Island in the Sunset

Many do not know this but Keppel Bay is actually linked to Labrador Park via a broad walk(which more will be posted on soon!) Recommended for couples to take a slow walk.

As suggested by a friend: Keppel Island also hosts flat green patches of grass and also dining(which does not come cheap). If you are a jogging enthusiast training up for your next IPPT so that you will not have to go back to Maju/Khatib camp etc, you may use the islands perimeter as part of their jogging trail which offers the cooling sea breeze and breathtaking views especially during sunset.
Couples taking a slow walk can also drop by Keppel Bay not only to use it as a viaduct to Labrador Park but also so seat down at the pavilions offered and spend romantic time together

Sunset which never fail to impress

HOW TO GET to Keppel Island/Keppel Bay?

You may drive walk or take public transport there. It is not some ulu island where it is only accessible by boat or foot
Walking: can walk from Labrador Park via the broadwalk to Keppel Bay. You may also walk down from Vivo along Telok Blangah road and upon reaching Keppel Bay drive, turn left and walk into Keppel reflections
Public transport: Stop at Telok Blangah or Harbourfront and walk

Below is a map from streetdirectory.com. Not a difficult island to go!
