Springleaf Nature Park

Today, I made a trip to Springleaf Nature Park via Lentor Avenue. I believe that in the near future, there will be a park connector linking Lower Seletar Reservoir Park to Springleaf nature park which will run beneath Lentor Avenue.

Springleaf park connector (PCN) which connects from Lentor Avenue to Springleaf Nature Park is accessible from Khatib MRT. It is definitely not advisable to come from Yio Chu Kang MRT because there is a tricky part where you will have to cross the highway (ie: hope there is no fast moving cars coming from the expressway and quickly cross)

Springleaf PCN was amazing! Honestly I did not know this gem existed till I did a map recee recently. Honestly, it is not even very evident on Google Maps at first glance. The trip there reminded me of many old PCN around Singapore where there are lush greeneries around. Better check it out before the concrete jungle takes over!

Here are some pictures!

Really beautiful sights. enjoy it while it lasts! Hopefully development will leave these trees alone.

And here is a sight of the Sungai from Springleaf Park Connector towards Lower Seletar Reservoir! Beautiful eh! This view is captured from one of the viewpoints within Springleaf Nature Park.

The best part is that you simply need to cycle/walk up Mandai Road from Springleaf Nature Park to reach Upper Seletar Reservoir :)

How to get to Springleaf Nature Park

Cycling: From Khatib MRT, cycle along the walkpath at Lentor Ave (towards CTE ). However, do not cycle on the lane with the traffic moving towards CTE as this would result in the inability to cross over to Springleaf PCN. Instead, cycle on the walk path in the direction towards CTE with vehicular traffic going towards Khatib. (haha see map below if this is confusing)

Coming from Yio Chu Kang is NOT recommended as you need to cross an unregulated highway.
