Jurong Hill Park

Situated next to Jurong Bird Park is the Jurong Hill Park. To get to Jurong Hill Park, one could either drive of walk up the winding road at Jurong Bird Park Carpark up to the Hilltop. (If I am not mistaken, this place is managed by JTC Corp and not NParks!)

Within Jurong Hill Park, there is a "Garden of Fame" where apparently important foreign leaders of Singapore planted trees. At the top, it boasts a tower where foreign guests could catch an unobstructed view of Singapore's development in the 1970's.

More information of the Hill Park can be found here:

At the top of the tower, one can have a view of Jurong Island which is spectacular at night. (Though many teens throng that area at night too!). At the bottom of the tower, there are a few shops which seems to have locked their shutters. Legend has it that there was once a famous Jap restaurant at the site!

Now deserted, here are some pictures before this place redevelops :(

Opened in the 1970's, this park host a Garden of Fame where foreign leaders could view Singapore's development from the top of the tower
