With not many fishing villages left, I wanted to record this fishing village at Seletar on the east of Yishun Dam. The jetty here is called Jenal jetty. Heard that it was an old area allowed long ago for the operators to operate a docking area here so it carried on till date.
Actually, last time some time back I came here at night and it wasen't fenced up. Now, it is well secured and there is even a guard at the front making sure explorers won't suka suka come in. However, heard that if you make appointment with some guys inside that you want to buy fish, then you can come in.

As we can see, the jetty lies on the original coast (not reclaimed!) and the trees and mangroves we see above are natural as inferred from the green area in the Navionics map (green area are areas which covers and exposes depending on the tide).
