Woodlands Waterfront

Many of us know Woodlands Waterfront. A Waterfront area in the North Facing Johor Bahru. And it's surroundings are changing a lot.

Previously, before the Thompson East Coast Line was built, to get here, it was only possible by hiking or by bus. Now, with Woodlands North MRT, walking here is a breeze.

Woodlands North MRT itself surroundings are changing a lot. Lets take a look.

I suspect the heavy construction is due to construction of the Singapore-Malaysia MRT line linking Malaysia to Woodlands North by MRT.

One of the key highlights of Woodlands Waterfront is naturally the Waterfront Jetty. The Waterfront Jetty used to be the Royal Malaysian Navy Jetty. The Jetty now houses a restaurant and a large area for recreation and fishermen.

View from the Jetty. Suspect they are doing works for Cross Border MRT Line.

Next to the Jetty lies a river mouth. The Mouth of Sungei Cine. We were fortunate to catch sight of the mouth since it was low tide.

After spending an awesome late afternoon at Woodlands Waterfront, we walked aroung the Old Woodlands town area as well as up high on some of the HDB blocks. We were greeted with awesome views.
