So my friend and I decided to cycle to Woodlands waterfront for a short ride and lo and behold! While cycling, we came across this gem on an unnamed road near the West side of Admiralty Road West. Going up the unnamed road, we bumped into this property which is back to the hands of the state.
Initially, we thought that it was a Shell refinery. However, as google searches yielded almost no results, I sought help from an acquaintance I met when I was assisting in a history project on Pulau Brani. He was obviously the go to person! Despite the paucity of information publicly, he was able to link me to this website: https://sgfilmhunter.wordpress.com/tag/woodlands/ where we now know this plant is the Shell Woodlands Lube Oil Blending Plant.
Apparently, this place once employed many people from the ex Marsiling Village.
This place is at the following coordinates: 1.4495800, 103.7734507 (Lat, Long)
As we could not go in, my friend and I decided to go to the nearby HDB next door to catch a bird's eye view of the Plant.
Here it is!
So there it is, another site gone into the vestiges of the past as they have moved their operations to Tuas. Here are more pictures!
Apart from the Shell Woodlands Lube Oil Blending Plant, there are a few other awesome places and views around here. One would be the hill overlooking CIQ and the causeway and the other, Woodlands Waterfront :)

And views from Woodlands Waterfront below!

Thats all!
Cheers!
