Lazarus Island (P. Sekijang) and Pulau Seringat

Clear waters of Lazarus Island coupled with its white coloured beach!

Causeway linking St John(opposite) and Lazarus Island
Part of the Southern Islands, also consists of Lazarus Island and Pulau Seringat. Both, like St John's Island, are also managed by Sentosa.

Lazarus Island and Pulau Seringat are linked to St John's Island via a causeway. You can access these islands via a boat heading for St John's. that said, you will notice signages indicating that Lazarus Island is currently under construction. But obviously a sign is not going to stop us from walking in!

Pavilion at Lazarus Island

Unlike St John's Island, Lazarus Island/P. Seringat has already characteristics of being the next Sentosa(since if I am not wrong there is talk to convert the island for the wealthy)
The roads are well paved and pavilions like this appear now and then while we were exploring which reminded us of Sentosa Cove!

Unlike St John's Island however, we could not find any toilets except at one building they are currently constructing which all the toilets( less the handicapped) were locked.

That said, the islands hosts scenic views and it is highly recommended that people visit it before it is changed to something very different. Already as we speak, construction is already going on!

How To Get to Lazarus Island/P. Seringat?

Lazarus island and P. Seringat(which is linked) is joined with St. John's Island via a causeway.
You can explore these islands via a boat from Singapore Island Cruise from Marina South Pier.

Just remember to bring more water and a cap as it can be very hot!
And keep track of the time to catch the last boat, or you can be prepared to stay at the bungalows at St John's or pay 120 SGD for a ride back.
