Lim Chu Kang Jetty

So some time back after going to Sugei Buloh, my family and I decided to go to this place to explore!

I have always wanted to go to Lim Chu Kang Jetty but never had the chance due to it's distance. So naturally being there, I had to take a panorama shot.

So what exactly is at Lim Chu Kang Jetty? No suprises yoz, its really just a jetty located near a police coast guard station. But being at the jetty gives you a very non-Singapore feel. Also, the "make shift" structure of the jetty makes it look super rural.

Apparently, many people actually make a living from here from cockles/clam fishing! Its actually easy to get them, simply just pick them up when it is low tide. A rural looking jetty set just next to the modern looking police launches makes this place nothing less then spectacular.

Enough said. Such places are better explored then described.

How do you get here? Simply take bus 975 from Choa Chu Kang MRT all the way to the last bus stop (Lim Chu Kang Police Coast Guard) before it loops back :)

Enjoy!
